The Golden Gate Bridge

Wow was the first thought that went through my head when I saw the Golden Gate Bridge for the first time. It flashed into sight in the far off distance; you can see it from across downtown San Francisco. This was shot near to Fort Point. If you follow the signs for Presidio, and then Fort point you will come to this spot. Just in front of me was the spot Kim Novak dropped herself into the water in the film Vertigo. I ticked off another item from my 'big things to do in my life' list.

The photograph was shot using the Normal settings on a Canon EOS 400d (Kiss X); F/20; 1/640 Sec; ISO 400; Average Metering Mode; 28 mm Focal Length; -0.7 (-2/3 of a stop) Exposure Compensation; Sigma DC 18-200 F3.5-6.3 Lens. This picture was put together using Adobe photoshop CS3.
