Fleetwood from Knott End

Fleetwood was once one of the largest fishing town of the UK. This position has sadly declined over the years. The fishing heritage however still remains in the hearts of many families still living within the area.

The wind here blows in directly off the Irish Sea. On days like these few people would consider travelling the ten miles up the coast and spending an afternoon in Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

The photograph was shot in RAW using the Normal settings on a Canon EOS 400d (Kiss X); F/14; 1/500 Sec; ISO 400; Pattern Metering Mode; 18 mm Focal Length; -0.67 (-2/3 of a stop) Exposure Compensation; Flash Compulsory Suppression; Sigma 18 - 200mm F3.5-6.3 DC OS SLD Lens.
