Rice Fields, Chaing Rai, Thailand

This is a shot taken a year or so ago of some rice fields taken in Northern Thailand. The Greens of a fresh Paddy Field are deep and very rich in colour. This contrasts greatly with post harvest time, which gives deep yellows and browns. The temperature here though is still around 34 degrees.

The photograph was shot on a Canon G6 with a Digitex 0.5x Wide Angle Lens; F/4.0; 1/320th Sec; ISO 50; Pattern Metering Mode; 7.2mm Focal Length; -0.7 (-2/3 of a stop) Exposure Compensation. It was put together with Adobe photoshop CS3.
